Despite its slightly sterile décor and cocktails that are more interesting in appearance than in taste, Sushiko lives up to the hype.

Highlights of the meal Thursday night include mouth watering salmon ceviche with a biting vinaigrette and sweet salmon roe, and tender lobster in a creamy ponzu sauce reminiscent of Southern remoulade (would have been great slathered on some fried green tomatoes!).

The rest of the menu features a seamless integration of japanese and international flavors. Portions are small and the prices a little high but all the same, I look forward to eating here again!
