Pizza in a Cone? You’ve got to be kidding.

Ever thought about all the things that go into outfitting a hotel or restaurant? I certainly hadn’t, that is until last week when I went to the mammoth hotel and restaurant exhibition Equip’Hotel at Porte de Versailles. I acknowledged the obvious stuff like furniture and dishware selection, but I was shocked when I saw things like automatic pizza machines (ready in just 3 minutes!), futuristic ice makers that spurted ice like lava from a volcano, and glow-in-the-dark wine buckets (presumably to be used in clubs so EVERYONE knows who ordered the Dom).

At any rate, nothing was weirder than this: Pizza Burritos!

Pizza Burritos!

Pizza Cone Machine

Because really, isn’t that what every Parisian wants? To walk around town with a personal pan pizza rolled into a cone for easy transport? I mean maybe in America, where websites like thisiswhyyourefat breed competitive junkfood consumption and creation…but France? Really?

Seriously! For birthday parties you can turn out the light and instead of a cake and candles you can just pull out that bucket with a few bottles of miller lite! Really festive!

I don’t know what I was thinking! of course you were there! Yeah Anders’ boss wanted him to find some tables and chairs for the bar so he gave him some tickets to scope out the scene.
