Last Supper at l’Osteria dell’Anima
Before leaving Paris for the Swedish countryside, it was imperative that I dine one last time at one of my favorite restaurants, the darling l’Osteria dell’Anima. While I usually order something doused in gorgonzola or squid ink, this time I went for the frutti del mare. I didn’t realize just what an ordeal this decision would present until the waitress began tying a tuxedo bib around my neck. As it turned out I really needed that extra layer of protection; tomato sauce was squirting out of every crustaceous crevice! It wasn’t my favorite dish I’ve tried here, but it was certainly the most festive.
