Shameless at the Louvre: Celebrity Sighting

Paris, France. Of the thousands of people that visited the Louvre yesterday and stood before the Mona Lisa, I was probably the only person with the wherewithal to realize that there was a far more interesting celebrity in the room. I’m not talking about Veronese’s goliath “Marriage at Cana.” I’m talking about a certain tall, dark and handsome werewolf. That’s right. I saw Alcide at the Louvre!

In case you don’t watch True Blood or haven’t seen any of the brawny ads for the recently released Magic Mike (the male stripper film), Joe Manganiello is a god. Honestly he really didn’t belong in the same room as the homely Mona Lisa, though he probably did make her smile a little brighter that day. He could have stripped down, sauntered down to the Greek antiquities, and stood in for Adonis. Total doppelgänger.

Thank you! Though it wasn’t that difficult. He easily towered over the crowd!
